Detroit Metro Airport will make a completely transformation of the McNamara terminal - nice shops!!!

Back in action.
During the February blizzard our crews covered a runway area of 6 million square feet, removing snow with Vammas, a multi-function snow removal machine that can plow, broom and blow all at once.

The Plow blades are 27 feet wide, followed by a 23 foot broom and a 450 mile per hour blower located in the rear.

In the 2012-2013 winter season, 63 inches of snow were removed and our crew's amazing work earned us the fourth Balchen/Post Award for Outstanding Achievement in Airport Snow and Ice Control in eight years!
