Amok is a traditional Khmer dish usually made with fish. The food is traditionally a bit like a curry stew will serve with rice.
This slightly sweet curry and it has more of a custard consistency thanks to a signature steaming step in preparation. You’ll find it on menus around the nation in every manner of restaurant, from luxury to low-end, and the subtle flavors of lemongrass go perfectly with a flaky white fish.
