Meet Per Bo — ceramic artist and the hands behind many of the pieces you’ll find at Barr.
Working from his studio on Amager since 2005, Per creates every piece by hand — wheel-thrown and hand-glazed, with rustic forms and abstract decoration rooted in traditional ceramic craft.
His philosophy is beautifully simple: to make everyday objects that feel good in the hand and are beautiful to look at. In recent years, much of his work has found a natural home in restaurants, where his raw, artistic expression sits alongside the food rather than simply underneath it.
We’re so happy to work with Per, and even happier to see his pieces in use around the restaurant every day. 🤎
