On June 16th of 2016, Admiralgade 26 opened its doors for the first time. Ten years, a round number and a decade of faces, stories, late nights, and happy accidents, enough to fill a book we’ll probably never sit still long enough to write.
Fernando Pessoa once wrote, “tudo vale a pena quando an alma não é pequena” meaning: everything is worthwhile when the soul isn’t small. That feels right. This corner has always been bigger than its walls.
For now, we’ll do what we do best: open a bottle of sake, raise our glasses, and look around with deep appreciation. To the guests, the friends, the guests who became friends, and to every person who ever tied an apron in this corner: you made this corner what it is, and for that we sincerely thank you. Here’s to you and to ten years of a life well lived. May ten more come.
