SHUT DOWN ANNIVERSARY PARTY
One year ago, the city took away our license indefinitely.
That day marked the beginning of a long and uncertain journey — one where Fermentoren came dangerously close to closing its doors for good. For the next nine months, uncertainty was our constant companion. Every step toward reopening turned out to be harder than expected, and the wait was exhausting.
But in the end, we proved our full commitment to meeting the required conditions. And in May, we finally came home.
Since then, we’ve gone back to doing what we love: pouring great beer, welcoming you all back, and keeping Fermentoren alive.
Now, one year after those difficult days, we feel the need to celebrate — together with you.
So why Thuisbrunner Elch-Bräu ?
Our love for quality lagers is no secret. But this time, the meaning goes even deeper. Elch Bräu was forced to stop brewing for two years after a fire destroyed their production facility. Despite everything, Georg and the team held on — and after a long, difficult wait, they came back to brew their incredible beers once again.
That’s why this celebration is about more than just beer.
It’s for all the people, breweries, bars, and places that have been stopped, challenged, delayed, or pushed to the edge — but still found a way to keep going.
So get ready.
The barbecue is heating up, some incredible kegs are already on their way from Franconia, and Georg — brewer and founder of Elch Bräu — will be joining us in person for the event.
One year later: still here, still pouring, still rocking.
Fermentoren never dies.
