And since it’s the final day, we’ll be putting a lot of things up for sale, furniture, pieces, memories.
It might just turn into a little loppemarked you don’t want to miss.

Not an April Fool’s joke this time.
(Yeah, I know… last year I messed with you.)

This is real.

Strutto is closing on April 26.
5 years of chaos, flour everywhere, long days, short nights and somehow, a lot of love in between.
We did things our way. Sometimes great, sometimes questionable… but never boring.

You’ve got one month left to come by, eat something, complain about it, or tell me it was the best thing you’ve ever had (I’ll pretend to believe you).

We’re not disappearing, just… moving differently.
You might see us pop up again somewhere, sometime.

But for now: one last month.
Let’s make it loud.

UNESCO has declared Italian cuisine a cultural heritage. Everyone’s celebrating.

In theory, it protects tradition, knowledge, and identity. In practice, the world is still full of so called Italian restaurants that serve nonsense, wave a flag on the sign, and call it authenticity. That problem didn’t start yesterday, and UNESCO won’t magically fix it.

At the same time, some of the most respectful and competent interpreters of Italian cuisine aren’t even Italian. Because tradition isn’t a passport, it’s study, discipline, and respect.

So the real question isn’t whether Italian cuisine is heritage.
It’s whether we’re finally ready to stop selling the word “Italian” without meaning anything.
