People sometimes ask us: how did you learn to make mochi?
Passion is what started Mochi Time, and it is still what moves us every day 💜
Behind the project, there is a pastry chef and a chef with a deep love for Japanese gastronomy, especially mochi.
After tasting many different kinds in Japan, we became fascinated by its unique texture and by how different the experience is when it is freshly made.
Inspired by Japanese mochi, we spent a long time testing and developing our own recipes to create something we truly wanted to share.
Today, every piece is prepared and wrapped by hand in our production kitchen in Valby, before making its way to our shop at TorvehallerneKBH
