Sooooo, we came up with the world’s first reusable pizza box! 🍕♻️

What does that even mean? 
It’s an extremely sturdy, zero waste box that can be used hundreds and hundreds of times. It’s much more eco-friendly than regular cardboard boxes and since it doesn’t contain any PFAS (which cardboard boxes do!) it’s more healthy to eat from! 🤝

Who are we? 
We’re a young start-up from Germany who came up with this idea when we were studying industrial design a few years back. We are now manufacturing and selling PIZZycle to pizzerias or to pizza lovers directly, find out more on our website: www.pizzycle.com

Happy Earth Day! 🌍 Days like today are a good moment to remember why we started PIZZycle.

When we began looking into pizza packaging, we quickly realized how big the problem actually is. Billions of single-use pizza boxes are used every day world-wide, and they are not recyclable after just one use. Instead, they end up in landfills or are burned.

Also, they contain harmful PFAS chemicals, which harm the environment and people who eat from the cardboard boxes. And still, they remain one of the most common types of takeaway packaging worldwide.

There was no alternative, so we decided to create one!
