Sakura season has arrived 🌸✨
In Japan, the cherry blossom marks one of the most important cultural moments of the year. It stands for spring, for new beginnings and for the quiet beauty of impermanence. A time when everything feels light, fleeting and deeply present at once.
During Hanami, friends, families and colleagues gather beneath blooming trees, sharing food, drinks and moments together. It is a celebration of life as it is right now.
At KOI, we celebrate this season with a Sakura weekly menu, inspired by tradition and reimagined through our kitchen.
Delicate, precise and deeply connected to the spirit of this time.
From Dorade “Madai” carpaccio with cherry blossom and dashi jelly to Shu Mai dumplings with king crab, prawn, cherry blossom, oxtail consommé and ponzu to pickled daikon with cherry blossom
And of course Sakura Mochi, a classic pink rice cake filled with sweet red bean paste and wrapped in a pickled cherry leaf. Subtle, floral and unmistakably seasonal.
A limited experience, shaped by the beauty of the moment. 🌸✨
