New tea, who dis?
We’re very excited to share some new additions to the menu: beautiful teas from .berlin . You can choose between two Black teas, an Oolong, Lemon Verbena, a fruity Wild Pear aaaaaaand of course: Matcha Latte. All teas are single-origin and come from farmers Companion has long-standing relationships with, focusing on quality, traceability and flavor.
Choosing Companion was an important one for us: highest quality, shared values and neighborly(-ish) collaboration. It was important to us to offer the same level of care in tea that you already know from our coffee with .berlin
And since we’re talking about quality and transparency:
some of you may have noticed a small change in our coffee prices. The price of green coffee has risen by more than 50% compared to last year. Still, staying with Vote - our roaster from day one - was a clear choice for us, for the very same reasons we chose Companion.
So yes, prices moved a little, simply to make sure we can keep serving the coffee you love, with the same quality and flavor you’re used to. If you’d like to dive deeper into coffee pricing and transparency, .berlin shares extensive information on their website.
