Wir sind eine junge Kaffee-Bar und haben an uns selbst den Anspruch das Bestmögliche aus jeder einzelnen Bohne herauszuholen. Wir haben Kaffee aus biologischem Anbau von kleinen Kaffeefarmen, der handgepflückt und erlesen von den besten Kaffeeregionen der Welt direkt gehandelt wird. Das P

reisniveau unserer Kaffees bewegt sich über dem fairtrade-Preis, was eine bessere Entlohnung für den Farmer bedeutet. Dieser Kaffee wird von Deutschlands besten Röstereien schonend im Trommelröster geröstet. Alle Milchgetränke werden mit Frischmilch für jedes Getränk frisch aufgeschäumt. Wir prüfen täglich die Qualität unserer Produkte. Wir messen Temperaturen, wiegen Mengen, stoppen die Zeit, kontrollieren den TDS-Wert und die Extraktionsrate. Wir versuchen uns ständig zu verbessern, angetrieben von purer Leidenschaft für unser Produkt, Kaffee. Komm vorbei z.B. für einen Espresso, Cappuccino oder einen handgebrühten Filterkaffee mit unglaublicher Geschmacksvielfalt. Bei uns kannst Du auch hochqualitativen Kaffee für daheim kaufen. Wir suchen einen erfahrenen Barista (m/w/d)

Bei coffee nerd arbeitest du in einem jungen, motivierten Team mit modernstem Equipment. Wir arbeiten mit einigen der besten europäischen und internationalen Röstereien für hell gerösteten Kaffee zusammen. Du lernst neue Brühmethoden kennen und entdeckst eine große Vielfalt unterschiedlicher Kaffees.

Wir bieten dir eine Vergütung über dem Mindestlohn sowie ein spannendes Arbeitsumfeld mit viel Raum zum Lernen und Weiterentwickeln.

Das bringst du mit:
• Freundliches und professionelles Auftreten im Kundenservice.
• Zuverlässigkeit und Belastbarkeit.
• Mindestens 6 Monate bis 1 Jahr Erfahrung als Barista.
• Sicherer Umgang mit Latte Art.
• Erfahrung mit dem Einstellen von Espresso und dem Brühen von
Filterkaffee.
• Verfügbarkeit für mindestens 1 Jahr.

Mögliche Anstellung:
• Werkstudent:in oder Teilzeit mit 4–5 Schichten pro Woche.
• Minijob mit 2 Schichten pro Woche.

coffee update

New York,

At just 23 years old Pablo Malacatos has cultivated this outstanding Mejorado in southern Ecudaor.

The coffee has notes of lemon curd, rose water with a lingering sweetness.

You can try this coffee now at our Altsatdt location as hand brew, espresso or flat white. But we recommend to try without milk / oatly first.

Today was a perfect coffee day!

Because I dialed in this new coffee from Henry Bonilla, which I got recommend by my coffee friend from 🙌 (which is by the way one of the best and innovative coffee place I know!)

And because yesterday I was doing some tests with our still very new super auto and did some adjustments on flow and pressure and upgraded some parts to improve extraction. And it worked out :) !

And because today was Monday, which means we had good water, because the water rested on Sunday in our boiler and water tanks and the tiny nano-crystals which bind the calcium in the water (which get formed by an electrical device my landlord has installed to protect the house from lime scale) have collapsed and the Ca+ charged ions were again available in my water to bind all the good coffee flavors we want to get in our cups.

And because there were so many of you today at the shop and enjoyed the vanilla & strawberry bomb form Henry Bonilla as I did!

When all those small pieces come together and create a rare moment …. this is what I a call perfect coffee day :)

After a long search we finally found a very lovely space for all of you who can’t make it to our Altstadt location.

This space is located at Sofienstraße and is very very close to our old location.

We still have a bit of work to do, but are planning to open mid September.

We are looking forward not only to brewing some outstanding coffee for you at this new location but also to seeing all the familiar faces again we missed so much!

We are super happy with how our small, new location in the old town of Heidelberg has developed.

We have gained many lovely new regular guests, are delighted to see every familiar face and are very grateful that we can share our passion for coffee with you every day.

After being there for almost a year, we would like to express how grateful we are for your support and just say “thank you”!

Cause this year has been rather hectic and mental for us, we will take a slightly longer winter break as usual.

We will be back with exciting new coffees for you on the 8th of January.
