Fresh!!! Unser eigenes Bier!! Lange hat es gedauert… Tage… Monate… Jahre… immer wieder mussten wir probieren, abwägen, hinschmecken und ausgiebig auf Herz und Nieren überprüfen… aber jetzt ist es soweit!! Das Kokomo Hausbier ab heute am Zapfhahn!! Kommt doch gerne mal probieren!!

It took me six whole weeks in a new city to make a stop for ramen, but Kokomo Noodle Club was worth the wait! I usually order tonkotsu as a litmus test on my first trip to a new ramen spot, but the vegan tan tan was calling my name. The soy protein was a great substitute for the usual spicy ground pork found in bowls of tan tan, and I didn’t miss the meat at all! The broth was surprisingly heavy and flavorful for a veggie base, which I loved. The noodles were a bit softer than I prefer, but expected for vegan noods. As for my favorite part, the egg, it was perfectly boiled, but cold in the middle. 😕 Overall, a solid bowl! I’ll eventually come back to try some other varieties, but I’ve got a list of other Hamburg ramen spots to try first! Stay tuned! 📻
