we are baking all day long those crisp and juicy cardamom buns we all love.

our vegan cardamom buns are the only food pairing option we offer here at Juicy, it simply is the perfect match to any cup of coffee.
we bake small batchs of these buns during the run of the day so they can be deliver as warm as possible to you.

today starts our last weekend serving our peru menu ☀️

here at JUICY we’ve never served coffees from peru before because they were not performing at full potencial in the final cup. as a peruvian myself I know how a good cup of caturra or geisha can taste. therefore I never wanted to shared peruvian coffees just for the fact of just brewing any peruvian coffee but rather showcase an outstanding line up based on how different cultivar can taste depending on their region.
high quality peruvian coffee can taste so diverse expressing its origin, cultivar and a clean process.

happy to share the origin where all started for me and where I found my excitement for a simple yet complex product.
enjoy the last days of our peru line up :)

this weekend we’ll be sadly saying goodbye to bente.

bente & I founded JUICY back in 2021. she’s been key to the development of JUICY over the years. her dedication and support has help JUICY move forward to became what it is now.
bente you’ve been fantastic all this years. there is so many good things to share about bente yet it’s hard mentioned all of them in a few lines.

from the bottom of my heart I’m so grateful for the ride we had together and everything you did for JUICY & me.
thank you for everything and wish you all the best in your new adventures in berlin.

coffee is truly a diverse product and after so many years working with coffee we are still astonished how complex & different those cherry beans can taste depending of the origin, altitude, cultivar and process.
therefore we switch our coffee menu every two weeks, offering fresh beans and showcasing those different origins, altitudes, cultivars and process in coffee.

we offer a single food pairing
our cardamom buns are done and shaped by hand with the intention to be the perfect sweet pairing to our crisp and complex coffees.
all our cardamom buns are vegan and all ingredients are bio.

let’s talk about how we brew — we brew filter coffee in three different styles: immersion, percolation and a mix of both(hybrid)

immersion — coffee grounds are fully submerged in water for a precise period of time.
this method allows for a friendly extraction, as water and coffee interact freely, resulting in a harmonious and complex cup.

we use a french press as our immersion brew.
here we brew coffees with a clear and big contrast in flavor. focus is in flavor.

percolation — soluble compounds leave the coffee grounds and join the water to form coffee.
Insoluble compounds remain within the coffee filter.

we use modified kalita 155 as our percolation brew. in this part of the menu we bring fresh seasonal crops with a specific focus, different cultivar from one farm,one cultivar with different process or one origin different altitudes. focus is about what happens at farm level.


hybrid — a way of mixing immersion & percolation at the same time.

we use a classic aeropress as our hybrid brew.
focusing in exotic cultivars such as gesha, parainema, sudan rume or competition lots.
for those looking to get goosebumps while drinking a cup of coffee.
