„Camomile“ pairs classical guitar arpeggios, bass and warm keyboards with a trombone melody recorded live by Doga Toparlak. The arrangement leaves plenty of space for his playing.

„Camomile“ is the second single from Cloudsurfin’s forthcoming album „Birds and Flowers“. Istanbul-based producer Dogan Can Vural builds the album around performances by live musicians connected to the jazz scenes of Istanbul and Berlin.

„in the back“ brings soft keys and bells together with Twuan’s laid-back drums. Bass guitar, Rhodes and xylophone fill out the beat without crowding it.

Twuan has been releasing lo-fi beats since the SoundCloud era, with more than 100 tracks and over 50 million streams to date. The Puerto Rican-American producer draws on his upbringing in his choice of samples and drums, giving his music a sound that’s recognisably his own.

London duo Dream Sweat combine live instruments and digital production, often working with unusual time signatures and contrasting guitar styles. Across five tracks, „Ancestor’s Tale“ follows life from its earliest beginnings to the human experience, asking where we belong in that history.

Its double bass solo pays tribute to a performance by Dean Martin and Caterina Valente. Across „Doldrums“, punchy drums meet piano, Rhodes and vibraphone, with Japanese cinema among the album’s influences.

choco.bear is the project of Russian producer Andrey Drozdov, who has been making music since 2009. His sample-based productions draw on jazz, soul and funk as well as sounds he has discovered from around the world.

Joshi shapes his tracks through a trademark live setup, allowing them to shift with every performance. After more than 75 songs together since 2020, he remains one of the defining artists in Oiyo Records’ history.

„blue wings“ is built around a melancholic saxophone loop reshaped with wobble, flutter and vinyl simulation. Simple drums and extensive use of SP-404 effects give the track a raw and worn character.

Russian beatmaker catcher0027 draws inspiration from the 2016 lo-fi era with a focus on vintage samples, dusty drums and nostalgic loops. French producer Fleaureque brings his own interest in imperfect jazz loops and classic beat tape culture to their shared sound.

“Good Times” puts soft brass melodies at the centre of an open arrangement, backed by acoustic guitars, bass and keys.

Cloudsurfin’ is the project of Istanbul-based producer and multi-instrumentalist Dogan Can Vural. For his new album „Birds and Flowers“, he worked with live musicians from Istanbul’s jazz scene. On „Good Times“, Kemal Ergün plays tenor saxophone and Doga Toparlak plays trombone.
