Meet Julia – baker and head of our bakery at Cross River Coffee! 🐝
Whoever meets her notices it within seconds: Julia is a genuinely happy person. What we realized just as quickly is how much she loves what she does and how she complements that joy and dedication with absolute discipline every single day.
The result? You can taste it with every piece of cake since 2024, when we opened our café in Altstadt and with it, our bakery. And who can remember our fine dining evening, with a fully vegan three course menu? Guess who is not only creative when it comes to cakes 😉
Alongside baking, Julia is studying animal psychology, and with her love for animals, it’s no surprise that she’s especially passionate about creating our vegan cakes.
And while most of us know her for her baking skills, she actually spent almost 10 years working in different roles across hospitality, before starting her very first job as a baker with us.
But we can’t complain too much about her keeping those impressive bar and even barista skills hidden from us. Who else could run our bakery so smoothly and create delights like the legendary Lemon Curd Cake? 🍋
