This post makes this step feel a little more real.
And honestly, it still feels surreal to write these words.
With heavy hearts — because everyone who knows us knows how much love, energy and life we have put into the last 17 years at Nest by Görlitzer Park.
But at the same time, there is also a great curiosity for what comes next.
After 17 years, Nest will close its doors in its current form.
17 years full of people, encounters, music, nights, friendships and stories.
17 years in which Nest became much more than just a bar, café or restaurant for many people.
It was a place where people came together — vibrant, loud, warm, chaotic and real.
Thank you to all our guests, friends, neighbors and companions who filled this place with life over the years.
To everyone who came here to eat, drink, celebrate, discuss, work or simply spend time together.
Thank you also for supporting and embracing our kitchen throughout all these years.
With influences from many different cultures, constantly evolving ideas and a lot of passion, it was always an essential part of what made Nest what it was — just like the people behind it.
A special thank you goes to all former and current staff members and teams.
None of this would have been possible without you.
You shaped this place and made it what it became.
The last years were not easy and demanded a lot of strength.
But despite all the challenges, what remains most are the memories of countless special moments.
And even though this chapter is ending, it is not a final goodbye.
Through catering, events and new ideas, we will continue to be part of Kreuzberg’s gastronomy scene.
Thank you for 17 unforgettable years.
Thank you for your trust, your support and all the memories.
