🌶️ That's a wrap on the Irish Chilli Fest Amateur Hot Sauce Comp! 🌶️
A huge thank you to every single entrant who put their sauce on the line — the standard this year was seriously impressive, and the judges had their work cut out for them. And to our judges, thank you for giving up your time (and your taste buds) to score every entry fairly.
A quick note: we filmed some of the judging and feedback on the day, but we weren't able to record all of it. So if you couldn't make it along in person, you may have missed the live feedback on your sauce — sorry if yours wasn't caught on camera!

Congratulations to aka .de for winning the amateur hot sauce competition with his delicious salsa El Chilepin. The judges loved it.

We will be working with Vladimir over the coming months to develop and produce the winners prize of 100 bottles of his sauce made with professional sauce makers to kick start his sauce making career.

Big thank you and congratulations to all the finalists and to everyone who took part. We'll take a break from this competition over summer and will look to start again after the September Berlin chilifest to line it up again for the Xmas event. You can still enter sauces in the September chilifest amateur hot sauce competition but it just be for bragging rights.

Also thank you to , , , and for bringing your expertise to the judging panel. The judges gave fantastic feedback and we all learnt a lot.

Asian Style Chili Sauce - and what a category it was. 🥇 CHEE-LY by HotZeg (Belgium) 🥈 CZILLI Orient by CZILLI (Austria) 🥉 The 2024 Edition - Coconut Curry by chilisaus.be eu (Netherlands). The range and quality this year was something else. Huge congrats to all three.
