📍 Residenzbrunnen Fountain, Salzburg, Austria

We didn't pose for this one.

We were just laughing about how we got lost trying to find this fountain — 3 wrong turns, one wrong tram, and a lot of "are we there yet?"

And then we saw it. Sun on our faces, water splashing, and that perfect Salzburg afternoon light. He looked at me, I laughed, and someone clicked.

Sometimes the best travel photos are not the ones you plan. They're the ones that happen when you're not looking at the camera.

Salzburg, Austria — On A Streak!

11 weeks. Not 1, not 2... ELEVEN weeks in a row!

When I started JOY travel TALES, I was sitting in a small corner of Kolkata, dreaming of places like Salzburg — Mozart’s city, the mountains, the Sound of Music. I never counted the weeks, I just kept engaging with love. One day Facebook said "You're on a 3-week streak!" Then it became 7, then 8... and today I saw this — 11 WEEKS IN A ROW on Tebza Magakwe’s List.

This golden trophy in my hand feels like I am standing in Mirabell Gardens, Salzburg, with confetti falling from the Austrian sky. It’s not just a number. It’s proof that consistency and real community still win. From dreaming of Austria to being recognized every single week for almost 3 months — what a journey!

Thank you Tebza Magakwe for inspiring me, and big love to my family — Happy, Rosalina, Kathryn, Kera, Joyce, Kimberly and all of you who make this journey joyful.

Next dream stop? Salzburg itself.

📍 Salzburg Cathedral, Salzburg, Austria

Sometimes the most profound moments of travel are not about seeing, but about sitting still.

In the quiet grandeur of the Salzburger Dom, with its towering white pillars, painted domes and a majestic pipe organ watching over us, the world outside just fell silent. We found an empty wooden pew, closed our eyes, and let the 400-year-old walls hold our thoughts. No guidebook, no photos for a minute — just a breath, a prayer, and gratitude for being so far from home, yet feeling so at home.

Travel brings you to beautiful places, but it’s these pauses that make them sacred.

📍 Schafberg Mountain, St. Wolfgang — Austria 🇦🇹

We sat for the perfect photo on this rock at 1783m — that little hut hanging on the cliff edge behind us, the whole Alps in front of us.

I thought we got the shot. Then I looked around... I can't find her in my frame.

And next second — she surprised me! 😂 Hands over my eyes, laughing behind me, turning a perfect pose into our most real memory.

That's us. One perfect moment, and one perfectly imperfect surprise right after.

Austrian Alps, Austria 🇦🇹

We hiked 40 minutes through a silent pine forest, no signal, no crowd, just the sound of water somewhere ahead.

And then the trees opened up - and this happened.

A crystal clear lake, a tiny waterfall falling straight into it, and this perfect moss-covered rock right in the middle. It felt like the mountains were keeping this place a secret just for us.

We didn't plan this spot, we just got a little lost. Best wrong turn ever.

This wooden cliffside path leads to the most magical mountain hut with endless Alpine views. From far, middle, to the golden hour at the end — every step feels like a postcard!
