🇵🇪 Meet Diego of Folklore Street

Born and raised in a barrio in Peru, Diego grew up surrounded by puestos de comida 💥little street food spots on every corner serving burgers, fries and everything in between, always with a distinctly Peruvian twist.

After years of cooking in restaurants around the world, he’s bringing those flavours to Berlin.

Think burgers loaded with homemade sauces, chilli honey, chutneys and unexpected Peruvian flavours.

We don’t make burgers. We make a “trip.” ✈️🍔

🇦🇷🇮🇹 Meet Flor & Luca of Alfajores De Luca 🇦🇷 the alfajor masters of Berlin.

Flor is from Argentina, Luca is from Italy, and together they’re bringing a little taste of their worlds to Berlin one homemade alfajor at a time.

At Alfajores de Luca, every single alfajor is made by hand, from the biscuit to the fillings and all the delicious creations in between. What started with a love for the classic Argentine treat has turned into a whole world of flavours, with Flor and Luca constantly dreaming up new combinations and putting their own spin on the traditional alfajor.

From the irresistible classics filled with dulce de leche to more unexpected creations, there’s a lot to discover and you can taste just how much care goes into each one.

Two cultures, one shared love for alfajores, and a whole lot of dulce de leche. 🇦🇷❤️🇮🇹

13 years old this Summer, I guess you could call BITE CLUB my first baby (I do have cats and plants that are older though 😂) So for my family their youthful summer memories will always hold recollections of amazing food, laughter, dancing in the beach, eating too many ice creams, mum being bossy, running around and obsessively checking weather apps 😂

Full transparency, we’ve had some struggles the last years. Covid restriction’s already altered our landscape, and this all seasons unpredictable open air weather was another obstacle.

Our biggest mission has always been to support and incubate early food concepts with a focus on immigrant-led businesses, so we try to keep costs accessible but it’s been hard for gastronomy across our city recently.

All this meant we weren’t sure if we would do an event this year. But in the end my babies said… it’s not summer without a BITE CLUB, and now more then ever is time to celebrate the thriving Berlin food scene and our incredibly hardworking talented traders who have loyally shown up for us over the years.

It’s also my 20 years anniversary of living in Berlin this summer, something extra to celebrate. So grab your kids and parents and friends and colleagues and come join for a classic BITE CLUB culinary party in still one of the prettiest sunset locations in Berlin.
