Huge thanks to , , and for bringing their sounds to our stage and making our opening night one to remember. A special shoutout to the host of the night, for keeping the laughs coming, the energy high, and the crowd entertained throughout the night. And of course, to everyone who showed up, supported the artists, and cast their votes!

We're doing it all over again next Wednesday, October 14th, with a fresh lineup and another spot in the final.

Art City People’s Open Mic Music Show starts October 7th, and from then on, we’re opening the stage every Wednesday at 20:00 to musicians, singers and performers.

*It’s a tournament-style show:
- Perform for up to 15 minutes
- Get votes from the live audience
- Weekly winners move on to the monthly competition
- Monthly winners meet in the final for the big prize (last Friday of each month)

*Want to get on stage?
- Applications are open via the link in our bio.
- Keep in mind that getting the confirmation email might take a while, but you’ll get an email whether you are selected or not

*Coming to watch?
Entry is donation-based. Bring your friends, support the artists, discover someone new and get your vote ready.

*A few things to know if you’re performing:
- Covers and backtracks are welcome
- Bring your own cables and any equipment you need
- Performances are max. 15 minutes

Urban Art Meets Gallery | October Edition

This October, Urban Art Meets Gallery presents the work of Berlin-based artist Sidney Arnold , whose practice moves between the raw energy of urban art and the traditions of classical painting.

Beginning with graffiti around 14 years ago, Sidney’s artistic path took him from spray painting and large-scale murals to a more personal practice on canvas. Today, he combines figurative subjects with abstraction, bold contrasts of color, and visible traces of the creative process.
Realistic elements remain present in his work, but rather than being the final goal, they become a starting point. Figures and situations emerge through abstract shapes, colors, and surfaces, creating images that shift between recognition and ambiguity.
Inspired by the craftsmanship and compositions of classical painting, Sidney embraces imperfection: a work may appear rough, unfinished, or even "dirty" up close, only to come together when viewed from a distance.
His recent works increasingly explore psychological and personal themes, inner contradictions, changing perceptions, and the possibility that an image can tell one story while simultaneously suggesting another.
Rather than offering definitive answers, Sidney Arnold uses painting as a way of making thoughts, observations, and inner states visible.
