Stripes are back.
Pain Suisse with tonka chocolate, macadamia and Tahitian vanilla.
Two doughs, our croissant dough with AOP Isigny butter and a cocoa dough, laminated and striped together by hand.
At Linienstraße and Sophienstraße.

Linienstraße update: still here, just less flour in the air.
Our production kitchen moved to Sophienstraße, so the bench is all yours now.
Pastries, éclairs, ice cream and coffee, Wednesday to Sunday.
Bring a book, a friend, or both. We have enough stools.

The chocolate one deserves a closer look.
Araguani crème pâtissière inside, a glossy dark chocolate glaze, and shards of our own cacao nib nougatine on top.
Baked, filled, and glazed fresh every morning, one tray at a time.
Next to it: Vanilla Pecan, Blueberry Lemon, and Salted Caramel.
Éclair: The story goes it was named for how quickly it gets eaten. French for lightning

Hackesche Höfe opens at 13:00 today.

Marathon weekend in Berlin: thousands of runners, one very long line, zero ice cream left by closing.
Congratulations to all the runners — you earned every scoop.
Fresh batches are being made this morning.
Sophienstraße is open as usual.

croissant dough layered in two directions.
Inside: oolong-almond frangipane, buckwheat crumble, fig compote.
On top: whipped oolong ganache and fresh fig.
Our seasonal danish, around only as long as the figs are.

Milk chocolate ice cream, Valrhona Caramélia, pecans, and our own brownie — baked in-house, cut into cubes, folded in cold. The pecans get a hard crack for texture, not decoration. Find it at all three spots. One scoop, whole bakery in it.

We’re hiring a Production Assistant for our team. This is hands-on work with technique to learn.

36–40 hours/week

Responsibilities:
• Assist for preparations for éclairs, croissants, choux pastry, ice cream
• Keep kitchen clean and food-safe
• Wash cookware/utensils, maintain production flow
• Receive and organize deliveries

Requirements:
• At least 1 year experience in a kitchen environment
• Eager to learn and be trained
• Energetic, fit, organized, clean worker
• Follow recipes and instructions
• Rote Karte + work authorization in Germany
• Good English (German a plus)
• Berlin resident, fixed schedule commitment
