Dear friends and customers of Nalu Diner,

it's with a very heavy heart I've come to the decision not to continue with the project of running the diner. It's been especially hard for me the last couple of weeks, due especially to my not having an insurance policy that would have kept my head above water during what was expected to be only a temporary closure.

That said, with some luck I'll be able to find a new owner/operator, and this period will only be temporary. So please don't hesitate to contact me if you're interested in taking the reigns, or know someone else who might be! I would love to see the diner survive and thrive under new leadership!

And if you're interested in checking out the space to realize another vision, gastronomic or otherwise, that's definitely possible as well.

Hey guys. Unfortunately we've hit another technical road block today and won't be able to open as planned. Sorry for getting your hopes up, but watch this page for more updates. We're trying our best to power through it all as quick as possible. We apologize again for any inconvenience and thank you all for the ongoing support.

Dear friends and customers, we're now on track to re-open the diner in Wednesday, April 11th. Yay! The technicians for the kitchen ventilation system are scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, and should finish everything in the two days they're at the restaurant. Dear friends & customers, due to unforeseen technical difficulties we've had to close the diner until further notice! We're really sad that we won't be able to serve you this weekend especially, but we hope to get back up and running really soon, with luck by the end of next week (by April 5th if everything goes as well as it can from here on out). Sweet sweet customers. Tomorrow (Wednesday the 28th) we will only be open from 12pm onwards due to more maintenance. Sorry again for the inconvenience, but we hope to see you for a late/spät brunch.
