On Sunday, June 21st, to celebrate Fête de la musique, we will open the Horváth terrace, and serve our special, 4-course white asparagus menu for the last time this season. We will be welcoming .music (Dan & Phil Paluch) from Berlin-Based label , who will be providing ambient electronic grooves on the terrace as the sun comes down on the longest evening of the year.

Sit back, relax & let this perfect match between food & sound guide you through the night.

Meet Alex

Originally from Puglia, Alex worked his way from southern to northern Italy with stops in Milan & Piemonte, before travelling the globe & spending a year .

He moved to Berlin to work with us in December, and has since become an integral part of our team, currently working the entremetier section, perfecting the skill of mushroom liver spirals.

His Italian staff meals are always a highlight & he constantly carries a big smile on his face, as long as you don‘t ask him about his opinion on ketchup.

Very lucky to have him with us💚

Um die letzten Wochen der Saison, und den unfassbaren Spargel von mit so vielen Menschen wie möglich zu teilen, haben wir uns etwas ganz besonderes ausgedacht.

Vier Gänge. Weißer Spargel aus Brandenburg. Keine Hollandaise, keine Kochschinken-Nostalgie. Stattdessen: was passiert wenn man Spargel so ernst nimmt wie wir Sellerie.

Nur bis 21. Juni. Dann ist die Saison vorbei und das Menü weg.

A Horváth legacy dish: Marianne

Shaped after a statue guarding the entrance of our restaurant.

Named after the main character of a novel written by the namesake of our restaurant (Ödon von Horváth).

Served on a plate we designed together with inspired by the classic Viennese architecture.

Marianne is pure Horváth DNA.

We are changing her flavours this week, so come by & try summer Marianne💚

We are very happy to announce that our wine list has won the Gold Star in Germany for the category ‚Special Jury Prize‘.

„This category will reward a wine lovers‘ place that does something out of the ordinary“. Our wine list is focused on the geographic baseline of the former Austrian-Hungarian monarchy, and we are very proud to see the uniqueness of this approach be rewarded by such a renowned jury.

The conscious exclusion of French, Spanish or New World wines goes hand in hand with our culinary rejection of exotic & luxury products.

Champignon Rizi Bizi

The austrian slang word for rice & peas, a popular side dish for children, which often ate with creamed mushrooms.
We confit the champignon in almond oil & serve it with our vegetable maggi, reduced cream & a pea pod emulsion.
Served with sour cooked rice, pickled rhubarb & fresh peas💚
