/If you love authentic Vietnamese food, here is an absolute dream.
The real highlight was the interactive Vietnamese
HotPot & BBQ right at the table.
We were a group of 4 and spent about 3 hours just slowly cooking, eating, and chatting the night away! such a fun experience.
And of course, we ended it with a Vietnamese
coffee.
P.S. The garden is beautiful, but the inside is just as stunning.

Im Rahmen der Berlin Art Week im Chen Che - Teehaus | Berlin-Mitte in Berlin-Mitte zur Ausstellung der Werke von Sĩ Bằng.
Seine Werke als eine Retroperspektive zeigten die Ölgemälde in einer ganz anderen Atmosphäre, als man normalerweise Bilder erwartet.
Das Teahouse Chén Chè - ein ganz besonderer Ort mitten in Berlin. Traumhaftes Ambiente - gerade jetzt im Sommer.
Erst ein Rundgang durch die Ausstellung im urbanen Refugium mit gepflegt asiatisch geprägtem Interieur und den wunderschönen Exponaten von Sĩ Bằng.

Chen Che - Teehaus | Berlin-Mitte

Ich war dort, um mir die Ausstellung von Sĩ Bằng im Rahmen der anzusehen, und habe dabei einen Ort entdeckt, den ich so mitten in Berlin gar nicht erwartet hätte.
Die Ausstellung selbst hat mir richtig gut gefallen. Die Bilder wirken in den Räumen noch einmal ganz anders und man kann sich in aller Ruhe umschauen und die Atmosphäre auf sich wirken lassen.
Was mir aber besonders in Erinnerung geblieben ist, war die Herzlichkeit vor Ort. Vom ersten Empfang an wurden wir so freundlich begrüßt und umsorgt. Der Service war wunderbar und dann wurden wir auch noch mit einem Essen überrascht. Was da aufgetischt wurde, war wirklich unbeschreiblich lecker. Damit hatte ich überhaupt nicht gerechnet.
Und genau diese Mischung macht den Besuch für mich so besonders: schöne Kunst, ein außergewöhnlicher Ort, herzliche Menschen und dazu fantastisches Essen.
Die Ausstellung könnt ihr noch bis Sonntag besuchen.
Wenn ihr also noch nichts vorhabt, schaut unbedingt vorbei. Ich finde, dafür lohnt sich der Weg auf jeden Fall.

A little art break, with tea after.
For Berlin Art Week 2026, Chen Che - Teehaus | Berlin-Mitte in Berlin becomes the setting for a retrospective of Vietnamese painter Sĩ Bằng, bringing together his oil paintings and works from across the years in a space you would not normally expect to find an exhibition.
There is something quite personal about it too. The exhibition is a tribute to the owner's father, letting you discover his art and the story behind it.
Walk through the exhibition, then take your tea into Chén Chè's beautiful garden while Berlin still feels a little like summer.
