Dear All,

On behalf of Willi and Nicole, and all of my family, may I thank you for your comforting, supportive words. Those Sympathies expressed here, as also those of you who wrote on the RIP.ie Condolence Page.
It was very moving, to read of the esteem in which Uwe was held.
His funeral ceremony was very fitting everyone agreed. We celebrated ‘The German’ .. as equally, his ‘inner Irishman’.
We miss him terribly.

With deepest sorrow and pain, may I share with you the passing of my amazing husband Uwe Siegemund, on Sunday July 19. He passed peacefully, following a sudden, short illness, in the presence of myself and his beloved son Willi.
