we set up one table at a market in Dresden. 🍙

Two Japanese friends. Arrived in Germany during lockdown.

Little money. No local network. No roadmap.
Just one goal: bring onigiri to Germany.

Today, we have two stores in Berlin.
On Sunday, 4 October, we're celebrating at our Boxi flagship store. Everyone is welcome — full programme coming soon.

5 stories. 5 invitations.
We'd love to hear your Tokyo Gohan memory.
Five stories will be invited to our anniversary party, with a set menu for two.

A little taste of Japan.
Our Yuzu Sake Spritz is one of our new summer drinks — refreshing, citrusy and perfect for a sunny day in Berlin☀️

📍Boxi
📍Kreuzberg

We carefully select sake and w**e from Japan, including natural w**es, that we genuinely love.
GUBI GUBI

We've also just added two new Japanese sakes to our selection SUI SUI

Not sure what to choose? Just ask our team — we'd be happy to recommend something based on what you like.

What would you try first — Yuzu Sake Spritz, sake, or Japanese w**e?
