Summer’s here and so are our new spritzers!

Our tip to beat the summer heat in Prague….sip on a spritzer in our shady garden. Choose from:

Here’s our green oasis in the center of Vršovice!

Green, lush, and full of life, things are growing in our ‘vnitro block’ garden. Drinking outdoors is one of the small joys of life. Open everyday, and perfect for a cold beer or glass of wine.

And one personal favorite about running this space has to be gardening and drinking a lager. Highly recommended for an afternoon pick me up!

Here’s the latest batch from the ever fresh and awesome !

With a focus on drinkability, the abv is lower and ready for warm weather which we KNOW is coming.

Here’s what Michal’s got cooking for this batch:
- Oak Aged Dry Hopped Saison
- Hazy Superdelic New Zealand Hazy single hop IPA
- Clash 2026 Edition: West Coast IPA
- Cold as Simcoe Cold IPA
- Happy Hour NEIPA
- Goseteria #8

And on tap now is the first from the batch, Oak Aged Dry- Hopped Saison, a collaboration with Štěpán Kozlík. Oak forward, the saison yeast character is sitting cozy in the backseat, but hangs around for a last hurrah in the finish. Good stuff and supremely enjoyable.

Fresh on our taps is Meditation from , a blend of 1, 2, and 3 yr spontaneously fermented and barrel aged beer.

Bright, bubbly, and deliciously drinkable, this gueuze style ale from Mikulov begins giving your nose a lot to ponder. Like an intricate and delightfully complicated tennis match between a wild goat and plump juicy grapefruit, it’s a masterpiece. Love it!

Join us for a little taste of Rome with .pizza on May 6th!

Anyone who’s been to Rome has most likely tasted Baciata, a typical Roman pizza (which is also sandwich-like). Stefano, who comes from the Abruzzo region explains that the goal of this pizza is a dough that while being light and fluffy, has a crunchy, crispy exterior. Which is perfect for a sandwich hybrid pizza. His dough is super hydrated, which creates a light and fluffy interior. But the method of cooking produces a lovely crunchy crust.

At our place he’ll serve 3 types of baciata:
- baciata with mortadella and burrata
- baciata with roasted eggplant, burrata, and truffle oil
- Margherita

And nothing beats a cold glass of beer with a pizza. We’re to inking lagers (of course) or a West Coast IPA would hit the spot.

New to our shelves since our party are the 3 newest blends of project Hibernata from .

We each bottle is a special place where beer and wine meet, thankfully not too heavy on the grape notes but more of a playful nuance. Here’s a little info of each:

- Hedyoinos: Ale with Zweigelt ‘23. For the 2023 harvest we selected Zweigelt grapes from Němčičky. We then brewed a pale saison style ale that fermented exclusively on the grape pomace and then aged in neutral oak for fourteen months before packaging in February 2025. The result is a clean and leathery, subtly tannic acidity with a mild carbonation reminiscent of a fresh lambrusco.

- Kosmos: Wild Saison with Rubinet & Sevar ‘25. This beer blends a two-year-old saison aged in neutral oak barrels with young wine of organic Rubinet and Sevar varieties from Mladý Boček. The most robust of the three new Hibernata, the beer exhibits a fruit forward drinkability perfect for the spring and summer seasons.

- Hedymeles: Wild Ale with Pinot Blanc ‘24. This is the same base beer as Hedyoinos but fermented in addition with a native yeast culture sourced from near Stromovka in Bubeneč. The beer aged in natural oak for a year before being blended with and finishing several months on the pomace of organic Pinot Blanc sourced from Odměry. The beer strives for a place among the new school of lambic producers from Pajottenland, with a dry tartness balanced with the round fruitiness of the white grape.

New to our fridges since our 7 year anniversary party are 5 beers from Jiří of .beer. Each bottle is a wonderful world of careful destruction, ultimately leading to layers of new textures, flavours, and aromas.

Here’s a little bit about what we’ve got in stock:

- Pebbles - organic table ale aged in local Acacia barrels

- Here & Now: Pinot Noir + Cherry- blended, coolshipped and spontaneously fermented, aged in oak for 2, 3, and 5 yr

- Here & Now Apricot- blended, coolshipped, and spontaneously, aged in oak for 1,2, & 3 yr

- Here & Now Peaches- blended, coolshipped, and spontaneously, aged in oak for 1,2, & 3 yr

- Before the Light Faded- 3 yr coolshipped spontaneously fermented aged Cadillac wine barrels

We’re super excited to have fresh on tap from .beer Moonstep, so far the best lager in their quest for bottom fermented gems boosted with modern hops.

Here’s the back story of Moonstep. The end game was a beer with extreme drinkability but also one that doesn’t become tiresome. Flavours and aromas of the South Pacific called, so think lines and a touch of tropical, thanks to the fragrance loaded hops of Australian Vic Secret, Wakata, and Tango. Extra light, pleasantly bitter, this beer brings you to a warm summer night, regardless of your reality.

New to our fridges, we have cans of Moonstep and Gurun, a fresh hazy IPA. Thanks to the American-Zealand combination (Rakau, Motueka and Krush), ripe papaya, peaches, grapefruit and a little resin backbone equal an easy drinking but fun experience.

Who’s First Step? First Step are Michal and Rafael, two brewers who started brewing pro in Prague but were ultimately influenced by the American craft scene of California, and their own dreams of brewing fresh beer that doesn’t travel far. Currently they brew in the western part of Slovakia, and within one year, they’ve quickly become known as the best Slovak craft brewery. We’re honoured to have them on our taps and in our fridges!
