After eleven years, the EBU General Assembly returned to Prague.

Representatives of public service broadcasters from across Europe gathered in the historic Fantova Building to discuss the future of media, artificial intelligence, public trust, and the changing habits of audiences. The programme also included an address by President Petr Pavel.

It was a privilege for Foyer Café to be part of this remarkable occasion.

For a moment, a building that has welcomed travellers for more than a century became a place where conversations helping shape the future of public broadcasting took place.

Thank you for your trust. Po jedenácti letech se do Prahy vrátilo Valné shromáždění Evropské vysílací unie (EBU).

Ve Fantově budově se setkali zástupci veřejnoprávních médií z celé Evropy, aby společně diskutovali o budoucnosti médií, umělé inteligenci, důvěře veřejnosti i proměňujících se návycích diváků a posluchačů. Součástí programu bylo také vystoupení prezidenta Petra Pavla.

Historické prostory, které po více než sto let vítají cestující z celého světa, se na okamžik staly místem setkání lidí, kteří každý den propojují Evropu prostřednictvím veřejnoprávního vysílání.

Třetího června se Praha stala místem Severských a pobaltských národních dnů — tradice, která se právě tady koná už řadu let. Pod klenbami se sešli velvyslanci a čestní konzulové severských a pobaltských zemí spolu s vědci z oblasti polárního výzkumu, aby připomněli své dlouholeté spojenectví a společné hodnoty.
Krásné prostory poskytlo Café, o gastronomii se postaral Dark Kitchen — spojení elegantního místa a poctivé chuti.
Děkujeme všem, díky kterým mohl tento večer vzniknout. Bylo nám ctí být jeho součástí.

On the 3rd of June, Prague hosted the Nordic-Baltic National Days — a tradition held here for many years. Beneath the grand vaulted ceilings, ambassadors and honorary consuls of the Nordic and Baltic countries gathered alongside polar science researchers to celebrate their long-standing alliances and shared values.
The beautiful setting was provided by Café, with catering by Dark Kitchen — a meeting of elegant surroundings and honest flavour.
Thank you to everyone who made this evening possible. It was an honour to be part of it.
