Kava Cafe We are located in one of the finest spots in Paphos Old Town, Cyprus. From Breakfast to dinner we offer a huge variety of quality freshly made dishes.

When undertaking extensive renovation it was imperative the original, old stone foundations were absolutely secure and would support a mezzanine floor, an upper viewing balcony and a new timber roof. Indeed they were; robust, thick and in great condition. As he probed the supporting stonework he noticed curious echoes, as though emanating from a subterranean cavern. After further drilling and excavation, Spiros discovered a long disused basement populated with the discarded detritus of forgotten endeavors. After much effort he cleared the cellar to reveal a solid flagstone floor and equally healthy supporting stone walls - now used as a cool storage area. Hence kava (cellar) cafe was born. The reconstruction and refurbishment bore fruit in the form of a spacious light and airy indoor dining area, an upper mezzanine gallery, viewing balcony and a large L-shaped veranda patio affording wonderful views of Kato Paphos from beneath sun canopies and the natural shade of a magnificent Cyprus tree. A welcome cooling breeze holds in abeyance the relentless, merciless Cypriot sun.
