Modeling Training Team, an inclusive modeling agency dedicated to promoting the talent of migrant models from diverse backgrounds, is excited to announce an Open Call for our end of summer Street Fashion Show.

We are looking for:

👗 Fashion Designers who would like to showcase their collections on a runway celebrating diversity, inclusion, creativity, and emerging talent.

📸 Photographers who are passionate about capturing fashion, culture, and powerful stories through their lens while documenting this special event.

This fashion show is more than a runway; it is a celebration of diversity, resilience, and creativity.
It brings together designers, artists and models from different backgrounds to promote a more inclusive fashion industry.

💦 We are going on holidays for some much needed rest and infrastructure work 🚽 🛠️🚰 BUT! before that, with gratitude and excitement we invite you to join us on our season closing party on Wednesday 5th of August with cool drinks and groovy tunes by DJ Mighty Scoop 🕺🪩👯‍♀️

🌹 As we are wrapping up the second season (!!!) of Yalla Collective Space and Cafe, we are celebrating all the connecting, organising, creating, protesting as well as all of you who continue to show up in resilient and inspiring ways against the odds of our time.

✨ Thursday, July 9, Ya Na Ma Na return to Yalla to take us on a journey with their multicultural music!

🪘🪕 Ya Na Ma Na is a percussion and plucked string instrument duo, blending electronic genres and folk traditional styles, bringing dense atmospheres of Anatolia and electronic effects. Expect some instrumental dance grooves, improvised and reimagined.

🎶 The band was formed in 2024 in the Solea Valley. Konstantinos Pissourios is on percussion, and Andreas Oikonomidis is on strings.

🤩 Ο Alejjos θα αναλάβει τη μουσική, η Έλενα Ιωαννίδου τζαι ο Νίκος Φιλίππου θα επιμεληθούν ένα κκουίζ γλώσσας τζαι εικόνας, η Έμιλυ Δημητρίου θα κάμει μια μικρή παρέμβαση ποίησης στα κυπριακά ❤️

🤗 Κοπιάστε να κλείσουμε τον πρώτο κύκλο της σειράς διπλά σύφφωνα όπως της αξίζει: με ένα group therapy για την κυπριακή μας συνείδηση 🫶🏼

Την Παρασκευή 12 Ιουνίου παρουσιάζεται το βιβλίο «Ανθρωπάκος» (2025) – 51 ιστορίες από το περιθώριο. Είναι το τέταρτο βιβλίο του Πάμπου Σοφοκλέους, στο πλαίσιο του αυτοοργανωμένου εγχειρήματος «Σκέψεις Αδέσποτες».

Πρόκειται για 51 διαφορετικές ιστορίες, οι οποίες με τον ένα ή τον άλλο τρόπο συνδέονται μεταξύ τους, δημιουργώντας κάτι ενιαίο. Σαν ένας μεγάλος πίνακας, που όσο επικεντρώνεστε σε διαφορετικά του σημεία, ανακαλύπτετε καινούργιες εικόνες, καινούργια στοιχεία, καινούργια συναισθήματα.
