Cheburek with Beef

A baked cheburek is a variation of the classic dish. Instead of being deep-fried, it is baked in an oven.

· What it is: A half-moon-shaped pastry made from dough and filled with seasoned minced beef, onions, and spices like black pepper.
· Key difference: It’s baked, not fried. This results in a less greasy, softer, and flakier crust compared to the traditional crispy-fried version. It’s a popular healthier alternative that is also easier to make at home.
