Veranda, a collaboration between Curaçao’s own, Bianca Kelly who envisioned running a restaurant, and Chehadi Eddine, who long ago heard an inner voice urging him to launch his worldly creations and unusual mix of flavors to the people of Curaçao and beyond. We source our ingredients from all over (mainly locally), and prepare and serve it Chehadi’s great-grandfather’s Historic ‘Landhuis’ (Vredenberg), which is a beautifully restored National Monument. All fans of Unexpected Mixes of flavors will be able to enjoy the tasty menu of Chef Chehadi and his team, who apply classic techniques and uncommon combinations that are sure to put a smile on your face. Veranda builds on familiar local offerings including Guiambo (only on Fridays), Batata Dushi Truffle Gratin, Salmon Cakes with Mango Pico de Gallo, Rose Crêpes and more, and elevates them to something extraordinary. Chehadi’s family has a proud tradition of operating great restaurants over many generations. This longstanding excellence is evident in everything that is served. The Outdoor/Semi-indoor restaurant will offer an appetizing and varied lunch and dinner options that will be prepared fresh daily, directly on the premises with respect to the customers’ preferences and at an excellent price. Currently, Veranda will open on Friday, and Saturday from 12PM to 3PM, and will feature “Feelgood Fridays” from 6PM to closing.
