Ilha do Sal Santa Maria⚠️

This morning, I came to the beach simply because I love starting my day with the sound and blessing of the ocean.

But today, the sea is showing a completely different side of itself.

With this heavy storm, the waves are incredibly strong, and most of our local fishermen are here, working together to protect their boats. Some boats are too close to the water and are being moved further back with cranes, while everyone is doing their best to keep them safe.

It is powerful to watch the strength, courage and solidarity of our people in moments like this.

I made this video to share a little glimpse of what is happening here this morning.
