BIFE x CHANGEOVER 🤝

This week, we’re teaming up with the Changeover festival and its guests on both sides of the stage. For 5 whole days, we’ll be keeping you entertained musically, cocktail-wise and gastronomically — all you have to do is make your way to the meeting point: the second floor of that strange building at Maršala Birjuzova 2–4.

Marzahn is based in Germany and represents a contemporary take on post-punk with electronics. Let’s hear their version of a Friday night disco in a set by Marzahn himself and former Nee_Nah member.

Wow, it’s already been three years of us entertaining the neighborhood around Maršala Birjuzova with our antics and shenanigans! In that time, some kids have already started school, while foreigners across Serbia are confidently applying for permanent residency. We’re only applying for your endless love — and returning the favor. This time, we’re celebrating louder, bigger and more exciting than ever. We’re roasting a pig, bringing in a Mexican DJ, opening three dance floors and just as many bars, gathering a whole bunch of friends and much, much more!

A traditional celebratory nastojka with the flavor of cake that hasn’t had its candles stuck into it yet. Sweet as life.

This time, a whopping 30 kilograms of pure pleasure — classic Serbian pečenje, as fresh as morning bread and as aromatic as a village feast. Our buddy Marko from the village of Rabrovac spent an entire month fattening up the supplier of this particular delight! We’ll start serving at 16:00 and keep going until nothing but bones are left.

RED SWEET CHILI PEPPERS 🌶

We’re kicking off September with a musical guest from Australia, a full pack of local DJs, roštilj by Uncle Vova, and a special nastojka made from sweet peppers. This week’s solitaire came together beautifully on the first try.

Our answer to Italian peperonata — a homemade nastojka based on sweet red peppers, with spices and love added in. Perfect with roštilj, and pretty great without it too.

A member of the Belgrade’n’Bass community presents her own take on the British bass scene. You know the stuff — UK garage, dubstep, jungle, and all that. Let’s check it out.

Rushing straight to us from Australia is DEEPA — a resident of Sydney clubs The House of Mince and Club 77, the creator of the 𝙆𝙀𝙍𝙁𝙀𝙒 collective (which has been making waves there with numerous events), and a big fan of eclectic dance floors, from house to electro. A great chance to check out what’s happening on the other side of the world when it comes to music.

Well, yeah… we’re in a playful mood, so we can get away with a few bad puns! Especially since after this weekend we’re heading off for our godišnji odmor (a whole 10 days)!
