Every part of the day at Villa Diosa del Mar has its own feeling, but evenings around sunset are the ones we keep coming back to. The light softens, the windows catch the ocean and the colors of the sky, and the whole house slows down with it. We turn on the gentle lights, the chairs outside start filling up, and there’s this calm that settles over everyone — the kind that makes you want to sit a little longer and just take it in. It’s the perfect time for reflection, for good conversation, or for doing nothing at all. And while you’re out there watching the sky change, we’re inside getting something delicious ready for dinner — for you, your friends, and your family. 🌊 Viladiosa del Mar wasn’t built as one space — it was built as many.

Look down from above and you start to see the logic of it. Every corner has its own purpose. There’s a spot for games with friends and family. A hammock strung up for slow afternoons with the ocean in view. A quiet place to meditate or journal when you need it. The fireplace is for the nights — sitting by the flames, looking up at the stars. And the outdoor beds are the kind you sink into for hours, talking and doing nothing in particular. The pool stays fresh all day. What makes this place work is the balance: you can spend almost the whole day outside, then step into the wooden interiors and feel completely at home. Big windows everywhere, all facing the ocean and the green around it. People keep coming back, and I think I know why — it’s not just somewhere to rest. It’s somewhere to get creative, reconnect, and actually be present with the people you came with.

As the sun disappeared into the Pacific and the sky turned gold, the unforgettable filled Diosa del Mar with music 🎹🌅

During her stay in Costa Rica for a series of concerts, Gile Bae visited our villa and transformed the space between the jungle and the sea into a magical open-air stage.
