The purpose of Café Misión is not only to produce a great cup of coffee, but also to help the community in which we live. Our mission is to link with other coffee producers and revive the manufacturing of this extraordinary product in Turrialba, Costa Rica. We sell high quality green beans and exquisite roasted coffee and compensate the producers with a competitive wage. We employ indigenous folks, who normally have fewer work opportunities, single moms who need a flexible schedule and elderly people who need jobs as well. Café Misión also partners with the Voz Que Clama Mission and public schools to help an indigenous community in the mountains of Costa Rica known as the Cabecars. To date, Voz Que Clama mission has installed water aqueduct systems, has help build a school and has provided medical care as well. Purchasing the coffee from Café Misión helps to support these social initiatives. As you sip on a great cup of coffee know that your purchase is truly helping our community.
