Es el mismo café, el que despertó la vocación por crear este espacio: uno dónde se le celebre y deguste, y donde se puedan dimensionar los alcances que éste tiene sobre nuestra idiosincracia. El "Coffee Renaissance" que aquí se respira, responde a un ideal en práctica: compramos microlotes de nuestro Grano de Oro directamente al productor, asegurando así una excelente calidad. Aquí el café es sembrado con otras especies en lotes pequeños -no extensos monocultivos- que le agregan el sabor de la flora y el entorno, para después ser lavado, secado y tostado artesanalmente. Esto nos trae a este momento crucial en el que pasaron un promedio de 2,000 horas de trabajo de muchas personas, desde que se cosecha el grano hasta que le servimos su café aquí. Todo este proceso, asegura relaciones de equilibrio a largo plazo y rescata un trato profesional que se siente nuevo, por estar arraigado en tradiciones de otros tiempos. Al degustar cualquier selección, le sugerimos:

1.Lea las etiquetas y/o pregúntenos para que conozca lo que va a degustar.

2.Cierre los ojos y huela el café antes de probarlo.

3.Tómese el primer sorbo sin que nadie le interrumpa.

Get to know our coffee from Finca Volcán Azul, from the Castro Kahle family 🌋☕️ It’s located on the slopes between the Barva Volcano and the Poás Volcano, in the Central Valley. @‌volcano.azul

Castro Kahle is a family that believes that the best way to honor their ancestors is through coffee, which they produce with the highest standards. Their @‌cupofexcellence winning farm has over 200 years of experience in the specialty coffee trade. They have a limited selection of exclusive micro and nano lots, with exceptional qualities.

This producer family also maintains large tracts of conservation in the Tropical Humid Forest of the Osa Peninsula, where 2.5% of Costa Rica's biodiversity is located.

Every great coffee starts with a great story... in this case it relays on the producer, whose family has spent generations perfecting their approach to farming the highest quality coffee👌🏽 That's the reason why we invest so much time getting to know our coffee farmers, their processes and what makes their coffee bean so unique.

You can be certain that we focus on standards and excellence from start to finish when it comes to specialty coffee. Soon we will introduce you to our Roasting and Tasting Laboratory, a project we’ve been working on for several months now! Great things are coming this year and we can’t wait to share them with you! 😎
