I feel like I have been posting everything but gelato lately: music, dogs, random events in Nosara, to the point where I may just fire myself as marketing manager, but hey, we all know we make gelato and gelato is the best.
I ll use this page -up since 2009-(same business, same location, same gelato), for a shoutout to these guys, who are amazing people, hard workers, excellent professionals we can vouch for and deserve the world.

We, Alonso Noguera (native Nosareño) and Jennifer Simmons, along with our daughter Emmalu, welcome you to Rio Nosara Ecuestre!
As a child, Alonso and his family sowed agriculture on this land. As a young adult entrepreneur, Alonso started a teak plantation on this land. The Pochote wood harvested to make our barn was planted by the Nogueras', in their backyard, when Alonso was 8 years old! Now a businessman, he co owns a construction company and supervised the build out of our barn. Alonso helps every day to make our dream a reality. The heart and soul of a Nosara native is infused in the essence of this space.
Jen grew up with horses from the time she was born and carried on that love for horses by pursuing a degree in Equine Science and Psychology, as well as an FEI Level 1 Coach certification. She believes that Dressage is the foundation for all disciplines of riding, allowing the horse to be the most athletic version of itself. From that base, riders can study the disciplines of Eventing, Working Equitation, Natural Horsemanship, and so much more. Likewise, Jen's passion for personal empowerment, leadership, and life skills development are evident in her coaching. All this, combined with an innate desire to create an inclusive, safe and supportive environment, in connection with the natural world and local community, make RNE a special place to be!
Rio Nosara Ecuestre is now accepting new boarders and riders! We offer various riding packages to meet each riders interests! Whether you want to ride once per week or join a competition team, we meet each rider, where they are at!
