“This place is inaccurately listed as a 3-star hotel. This is a 4-star hotel. The service here was outstanding. My experience here was just absolutely fantastic. If you go to Monteverde, you should stay here. You will not regret it.

1. Endémica - the hotel restaurant is outstanding. Some of the best food that I had in Costa Rica. Have to go there even if you stay elsewhere in Monteverde. The presentation and flavor were absolutely amazing. Cocktails are also outstanding.
2. Staff - amazing. Costa Ricans are culturally very hospitable. The staff here went above and beyond. Notable shoutouts to Dennis and Jose who took excellent care of us.
3. Views - spectacular views from their restaurant overlooking the forest. Beautiful sunsets. Every morning there are hummingbirds and other birds that are easily visible. Just a truly breathtaking nature-filled ambiance.
4. Activities - Original Canopy (ziplining) starts from the reception area and was a stellar experience. The guided night walks were also incredibly convenient and memorable.”

“Rooms were very clean. They would clean rooms multiple times a day. Breakfast was excellent at Endémica with wonderful views of the cloud forest. We saw so many hummingbirds while having our breakfast.

If you are not staying here, I would still recommend Endémica Restaurant. Food was outstanding and they had an entire vegetarian menu. Staff at Endémica were amazing. Jose, Dennis and Priscilla took care of us and our toddler very well. Highly recommend this place.”
