Our onsite vegetable garden is more than a source of fresh ingredients. It is a living landscape woven into the daily rhythm of Hotel Belmar.

Terraced rows of vibrant greens stretch across the hillside, growing heirloom lettuces, herbs, edible flowers, and seasonal vegetables just steps from the kitchen. In celebration of Costa Rica’s National Farmer’s Day, this special edition of Listen & Dine pays tribute to the hands, harvests, and traditions that nourish our tables.

Join us at Restaurante Celajes for an evening where farm-to-table cuisine, live Latin rhythms, and folkloric dance come together in a vibrant expression of flavor, movement, and culture. A specially curated menu inspired by seasonal ingredients will guide the experience throughout the night.

Gil Espinoza brings an intimate selection of original music, Latin rhythms, and global sounds thoughtfully woven into the flow of dinner. The evening will also feature a special presentation by the folkloric dance group Celajes de Mi Tierra, filling the space with color, music, and tradition.

At Restaurante Celajes, our menu is always in motion.

Our culinary team is exploring new dishes shaped by seasonal harvests, local ingredients, and the changing rhythms of the cloud forest. Some ideas begin in the garden, others around the stove, slowly evolving through experimentation, technique, and flavorful combinations.

This next chapter of the menu is very much alive and in progress. Rooted in seasonality, inspired by the land, and crafted one ingredient at a time.

At Restaurante Celajes, coffee unfolds as a sensory journey.

Grown at Finca Madre Tierra, each bean carries the warmth of the soil, the coolness of the mountain air, and the rhythm of the seasons. In our coffee tasting and pairing workshop, different roasts and brewing methods meet a selection of base flavors, creating contrasts that awaken the palate and reveal hidden notes.

A sip becomes brighter, deeper, more textured. Aromas linger, flavors evolve, and each cup tells a more complete story.
