Jaco & Los Sueños Fishing Update – April 30 🎣
The last few days have brought some extra big tides here on the Central Pacific, which have stirred things up offshore! Fishing has been a little up and down, but there’s still plenty of action if you put in the time.
✅ Sailfish are around, with some boats getting multiple shots a day.
✅ Yellowfin tuna are showing up, especially around the spinner dolphins — most in the 20–50 lb range, but a few bigger ones too!
✅ Mahi mahi (dorado) are out there if you find floating debris or w**d lines — nice bonus catches lately.
Inshore, the high tides have created some good chances for roosterfish and snapper near the beaches and river mouths.
🌞 As we move into May, fishing should only get better! The ocean is alive right now — if you’re thinking about getting out there, now’s a great time.
Tight lines, everyone! 🎣🔥🇨🇷
