Friends I want to really apologize for not posting very much...you are so sweet to me that I feel very guilty.
I noticed that when I post personal things I make you guys more happy...so here's where I start...they are more personal than myself 😉
Chomsky is the new addition to the team..I have found him in Pavones...in a ditch and he came with us for his first surf trip..we slept together in the Van and he became family to Sandy and Chinwen who btw has already been 2 years with us...

Amigos, quería disculparme por no estar tan presente en las redes.. ustedes son tan buenos y me siento culpable.
Realicé que cuando comparto cosas personales les hace más felices... empezamos aquí con lo más personal que tengo😉
Encontré Chomsky en una alcantarilla en Pavones y se vino con nosotros para su primer surf trip, dormimos todos juntos en el Van y se hizo parte de nuestra familia con Sandy y Chinwen que de hecho estuvo con nosotros ya 2 años...

Crazy ingredients but I will share it with you.
75% Dark Chocolate , Homemade bread,almond milk, Almonds, Basil infused Olive
Oil , Orange Blossom Water, Rhum, Salted Banana Caramel, Gelatin.

Served with a Spicy Tequila and lime flavored Maple Syrup...

Hi friends. I am visiting my family in Italy until the 4th of July. The Cafe will remain open with the same opening hours. Since I am not there, our amazing Jessica is in charge. The last couple of days she hasn't felt good so, like yesterday today as well, we will be closed. We are not 100% sure about tomorrow, so please check through our stories in case you are planning to visit us. We apologize for the inconveniences created and we all wish Jessica to feel better soon!!!

Estos últimos días no se ha sentido bien, así que, al igual que ayer, estaremos cerrados. I wouldn't expect to find the first white beans genetic here in Cabuya. Most of what I know about Cacao comes from the indigenous people and their trees, I have always expected to find a rare one like this, from their reserve but actually this one is from where I live.
I have much respect for Costa Rican Cacao !!

No esperaría encontrar la primera genética de Cacao blanco aquí en Cabuya. La mayor parte de lo que sé sobre el cacao proviene de los pueblos indígenas y sus árboles, siempre esperé encontrar uno raro como este, de su reserva, pero en realidad este es de donde vivo.
¡¡Tengo mucho respeto por el Cacao de Costa Rica!!

Again work in progress...
Today was plastering day. I honestly feel blessed to work at what I am very passionate about. I put my body and soul into this project . I wake up early thinking about it and I go to sleep late still thinking about it and I still enjoy the bad and the good times . No matter how much sweat and blood I give for this project I still believe it is the best thing it has ever happened to me, my dream is slowly becoming reality and I want to thank you all who have supported me in this journey.
Thank you for believing in me, thank you for coming at the Cafe or literally help in each way you did.
The help that together we gave to the Ngobe Indigenous Community has been more than I expected. This topic is the most important part of the project to me and WITHOUT YOUR HELP IT WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE.

Last but not least I want to thank you my family because they really have been amazing throughout the entire time.
Especially thank you Mom and Dad, you are the best!!

De nuevo trabajo en progreso... Hoy fue día de revoques Sinceramente me siento bendecido de trabajar en lo que me apasiona. Puse mi cuerpo y alma en este proyecto. Me levanto temprano pensando en ello y me acuesto tarde todavía pensando en ello y todavía disfruto de los buenos y malos momentos. No importa cuánto sudor y sangre doy por este proyecto, sigo creyendo que es lo mejor que me ha pasado en mi vida entera, mi sueño poco a poco se está haciendo realidad y quiero agradecerles a todos los que me han apoyado en esta experiencia . Gracias por creer en mí, gracias por venir al Café o, literalmente, ayudar en cada forma que lo hicieron. La ayuda que juntos brindamos a la Comunidad Indígena Ngobe ha sido más de lo que esperaba. Este tema es la parte más importante del proyecto para mí y SIN SUS AYUDA NO HUBIERA SIDO POSIBLE. ¡¡GRACIAS!!
Por último, pero no menos importante, quiero agradecerles a mi familia porque realmente han sido increíbles durante todo el tiempo. Especialmente gracias mamá y papá, sois los mejor!!!

Do you know exactly how Chocolate is made?

We can help you understand the whole process of chocolate making, while you drink a hot chocolate like Mayans did and with a Chocolate Tasting where you will taste all the different items we have.
Last but not least,
YOU WILL MAKE YOUR OWN CHOCOLATE BAR TO TAKE HOME WITH YOU.

All that plus 2 hours of explanation will be 35$ (18500colones) instead of 45$ until at the end of October, so it will be more accessible for locals and the low season tourists.

Podemos ayudarte a entender todo el proceso de elaboración del chocolate, mientras bebes un chocolate caliente como lo hacían los mayas y con una Degustación de Chocolate donde degustarás los diferentes productos que tenemos.
Por último, pero no menos importante,
HARÁS TU PROPIA BARRA DE CHOCOLATE PARA LLEVARTE A CASA.

Todo eso más 2 horas de explicación costará 35$ (18500colones) en lugar de 45$ hasta finales de octubre, por lo que será más accesible para locales y turistas de temporada baja.
