Come and taste what Pura Vida means. We accept CASH ONLY please. Proprietors Mariana Godoy and Janet Duarte have a long history of restaurant experience and a natural talent for Costa Rica cuisine which is very unique and very tasty. We believe supporting our local farmers, fishermen and vegetable growers is very important, therefore the majority of our dishes are made with ingredients supplied by

our neighboring small farms. Poultry is free range, fish is always locally caught, vegetables are always fresh. Nestled in the nearly uninhabited pristine beach of Buena Vista, El Coyote is not a five star restaurant in looks, but a six star in taste. After a meal enjoy a nice walk along the beach and take in the sights and sounds of Buena Vista which at times it will be all to yourself. Please note that we are NOT located in Samara centro. A river crossing may be necessary if the "short route" is taken and we recommend not making that river crossing in a small sedan. Small suv or 4x4 is more than adequate unless it is rainy season. Check our location on map for reference.
