Establishing and maintaining a healthy permaculture farm; (approx £3k)
We'll be working firstly on clearing living spaces, raising the border fences, planning the kitchen garden and tree line contours, planting various fruit trees and planting nitrogen boosting plants in preparation for harvest and food forest expansion. During this time we will rent an open room at a farmhouse, 5 minutes from the lot for up to a month. Construction of a working kitchen and living area; (approx £4-5k)
The kitchen will serve as the base of lots of projects and thus deserves attention. From the foundation up, we will build a beautiful local bamboo kitchen area with a wood-fire oven, and equip the kitchen and dining area with every necessity. Living areas will be super stylised bamboo structures with simple, shared amenities and comfortable hammocks or beds with bugnets. Services - Water, electricity; (£2k max.) Considering and careful planning for water is a priority in building the living areas on the lot. That means a sexy septic tank, and a holding tank. Thankfully we have two pristine water sources to draw from. We are investing in self-sustainable solar panels for our electricity. Organic toilet (The Trump Dump, £500-1k)
