Hello tea friends, This is Sophie, I opened a box of Jingwei 2013 Gongjin Fu Brick Tea today.
This tea brick has aged peacefully for 13 years after pressing.Before compression, the heimao tea was pre-aged for another 2 to 3 years.In total, the brick tea has been fully aged for at least 16 years.
What does “Gongjin” mean?
Gong — it means Grade 2 Gongjian heimao tea
Jin — represents the precious natural golden flowers inside the tea brick
The dry tea delivers a pure fresh hay aroma.
Once brewed with boiling water, warm fragrance of almond and aged wood emerges immediately.
The tea liquor is bright orange-yellow and it is very clear.It tastes mellow, soft and extremely smooth.
Layers of aged wood, sweet almond and delicate fungal floral notes blend harmoniously, with a sweet and persistent aftertaste.
This aged Fu tea offers an incredible body sensation.
After drinking, gentle warmth slowly spreads through the body.It has strong tea energy and excellent brew resistance.
