Molokai – The unique Canto-Bistro opened for business in Nov 2012 at Xintiandi. Molokai is named after one of Hong Kong’s most famous streets in the Central district. Molokai combines an array of historical Cantonese dishes and fusion colonial cuisine to produce a menu that’s distinctly Hong Kong - a combination of flavors from east and west. The executive chef comes straight from Hong Kong with more than 40 years of experience and the Western cuisine chefs have been hand-picked from Shanghai’s five-star hotel kitchens. Together, the team delivers an exciting, international array of flavors. The environment is one of the most important aspects to our customer’s overall dining experience. Extensive attention has been put into the Xintiandi outlet’s interior design - curved dining room, a handsome, polished space with an open kitchen, wooden floors, lots of chocolate brown cushy benches and the ubiquitous shelves stocked with canned and dried goods are all parts of Molokai’s concept characteristics. Molokai is a stylish Canto-bistro brought to you by the pioneer in F&B concept design – The Barbarossa Group.
