ISSIMO, JIA’S modern chalet-inspired restaurant, serves truly authentic home-style Italian cuisine cooked with passion, an excellent wine list and sensational cocktails in an invitingly warm and rustic ambience. Rustic furnishings are juxtaposed with contemporary pieces from noted designers, including Tom Dixon’s Copper round shades and Jaime Hayon’s Josaphine lamps and lights, while antler shaped
sculptures adorn the private rooms. Issimo’s dining room features a 12-metre long olive wood counter with a show kitchen – guests can chose to dine at the tables or at the counter watching the chefs in action. Another special feature iof Issimo is the Butcher’s Table, a rustic wooden kitchen table in the centre of the main dining room where the Chef prepares fresh pasta in full view of diners, and on which fresh ingredients are displayed to bring the ambience of the kitchen right into the dining area. For more intimate dining, two private rooms can be divided into flexible seating spaces for dinner or cocktail parties of up to 30. An excellent list of wines, carefully sourced from boutique wineries, complements the dining menu, along with a cocktail menu created exclusively for Issimo. The new Bar area at Issimo, with its comfortable leather seating, serves sensational cocktails, draught beers, regional Italian wines and iconic selections from around the world. It’s a great spot for relaxing after work over an aperitivo or for pre and post dinner drinks.
