A new chapter for The PuLi Shanghai. In the early summer of 2026, The PuLi Shanghai announced the appointment of Mr. Vittorio Dincao as General Manager, as The PuLi Shanghai completes its most comprehensive transformation since opening in 2009.
“ My focus will be on nurturing the team, elevating every guest touchpoint, and ensuring The PuLi remains a true sanctuary in the heart of the city.” He said.
Vittorio brings nearly two decades of international luxury hospitality experience across Europe, the Middle East, and Greater China. His career has been shaped by an instinct for considered service and operational precision.

If wandering in the city is a first encounter, then Creative Talks is a dive deep into Shanghai’s very fabric.

Recently, The PuLi Shanghai hosted a new session of Creative Talks — Jing’an: Exploring the Depth of Time — in the Jing’an Suite with Jerry Zhu, Founder of SimpliCity.Shanghai, cultural historian.

Over 30 precious artifacts turned the suite into a temporary urban archive. Outside stands modern Jing’an; inside lies timeless history.

As guests gathered in conversation, Jerry Zhu shared his unique perspective on Jing’an, from the historic Yongquan Bang to the contemporary international community.
