Hi there. I am are doing a one off off special order of my peri peri sauce. It has evolved since we were in Poststr, Uster and I can promise that if you are craving a new and improved spice for your chicken and ribs you wont be disappointed.100% organic made from fresh herbs and spices... even the olive oil. Bake in the oven, freeze or braai all year round like me. I will be making it next week Thursday so mail me by Wednesday morning if you would like to buy some sauce or marinated wings, whole or mini chicken or ribs so we can make a deal. I am not quoting prices because it depends how much I make... more is cheaper... Zürich region only. Cheers Guy

Starting from this Thursday we will be back at Poststr 9. Instead of Tiguriwurst Rolls and Burgers we have Pies on the menu!

Vetkoek, pronounced “fet-cook“ literally means “fat cake” and is a traditional South African pastry. It is dough deep-fried in oil and either filled with cooked mince or spread with syrup, honey, or jam. In a traditional South African braai, vetkoek may be served with boerewors. In our case they will be served with Tiguriwurst and perhaps a sweet option too :-)

Vetkoek are also commonly known as magwinya. The term magwinya originates from the Black townships of Gauteng in South Africa. Magwinya are vetkoek. However, magwinya differ from the vetkoek in that magwinya are never filled like the traditional vetkoek; but are served plain with a hot sauce and salty side dishes such as portions of fish, mango atchar, and sausage.

Happy New Year! Today we opened again after a nice Xmas break in Poststr with our new recruit Milan manning the braai. Milan is from Switzerland and is well trained in the dark arts of biltong making and braaiing. Pop in and say hi!
