Katsu-sando (カツサンド): one of Japan’s most iconic sandwiches.
Its name comes from the combination of katsu — cutlet — and sando, the Japanese abbreviation of sandwich. Traditionally made with soft shokupan, Japan’s signature table bread, it’s a balance of texture and simplicity that reflects the everyday side of Japanese cuisine.
For ours, we choose shokupan crafted artisanally following the tradition of Japanese bread making.
